Benefits
The benefits provided by CID include:
• Fragmentation of ions that does not occur under normal
PSD conditions
• Side chain fragmentation that may allow you to
distinguish between Leucine and Isoleucine isomers
• Greater number of immonium ions generated for peptide
analysis
