Effects of
adjusting Bin size
A smaller Bin size (lower number of nanoseconds):
• Increases resolution between peaks when peaks are
narrow in time width (see Figure 5-11).
• Increases the size of the data file because the mass
range is recorded with finer sampling and therefore
increases the number of data points collected.
