the Instrument Control Panel

Selecting
instrument
settings
To select instrument settings to manually acquire data:
1. In the Instrument Control Panel, open or create an
instrument settings (.BIC) file with the appropriate
parameters. See Section 5.4, Optimizing Instrument
Settings Parameters, for information.
The parameters from the selected instrument settings
(.BIC) file are displayed in the Instrument Settings
Control page (Figure 6-2).
